CHOREOGRAPHY

Mina is experienced in choreographing pieces for groups, solos on herself as well as in collaboration with musicians. She was part of the Royal Albert Hall Associate Artist Programme where she choreographed and performed a piece called Filo in collaboration with composer Carolina Saddi-Cury, tar soloist Morad Kashef, conductor Medb Brereton-Hurley and the Trinity Laban String Ensemble. Mina’s choreography works with the idea of finding power in the delicacy and quietness of the human experience. Always seeking an authentic artistic expression, she lets the body and the written lead the process. When movement fails, her work seeks out language and vice versa, text and dance always in exchange.
